What stunning work, Maria! Scale is SO key here. Doing those tall-drink-of-water draperies was a smart decision, using the height of that room to your advantage instead of letting it be a detriment. The room has great balance and the interest is spread evenly throughout the room, making your eye go from floor to wall to ceiling and back again. I thought the gold cage on top of the cabinet was a lovely touch. People can be so overwhelmed by tall ceilings, but when you know what to do with them, you can really create a “supermodel” of a room! Great job! Btw, do you mind me asking the paint color you used on the walls? It’s gorgeous.
