We are finally moved into our new home...well not completely moved in, but working on it. Many of you who know me personally know that our move to San Antonio was hard and emotional. We left everything we knew and were comfortable with behind in Dallas...my family, our friends, our church, my clients...there is not an aspect of our lives that hasn't been touched by our move. We made a decision for our future and ran with it. Up until now we had been living in a rent house while we searched for our new home. This was depressing. Not because of the house, (the rent house was super cute) but because we had no roots, or direction for that matter. I'm a nest-er and I wasn't able to make it ours. For six months we lived without a single picture on the wall and half of our belongings in either storage or boxes amidst our feet. We were slowly going crazy :-)
God has been so good to us. He has carried us through a challenging time in our lives and has blessed us in so many ways! We have a home now, a place to call ours, and I can already feel our roots reaching deep into the ground. The sun is shining again.
I've had some requests for photos and I will gladly share when we get fully unpacked. Above is a glimpse of my new kitchen that I am positively in love with!!!
"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalms 126:3
So happy for you guys !! congratulations and God Bless !!
Thank you Patrizia!!! :-)
Oh oh my..... I am going through an all white phase, already had told Kyle the next time we build (yes I know, we are crazy)the kitchen would be all white with cabinets to the ceiling and convinced my sister to do her kitchen in all white. I LOVE the picture so much!! Cant wait to see it!!!
Thanks Allison! I told Frank the other night that "I loved the marble so much that I could lick it" he said that it would probably just taste like stone. hmm.
I talked to Kyle today...we are supposed to plan a trip for y'all in April, yay!
