Inspired By Seaside

We recently took a lovely little vacation to the Florida coast.  It was actually a work trip for my husband that we, as a family, turned into a little vacation.  It was all vacation for me though and I needed it bad!  I have to admit that traveling with a baby is hardly relaxing but it was a much needed break in the 'everyday' and very, very welcomed!  We stayed in Destin, which was wonderful, but we took a little jaunt over to Seaside and it completely stole the show! Have you been there?!  How cute is that town?!!!  The colors and architecture and vibe were so inspiring!  I hope we have the opportunity to return soon
I'll let the photos do the talking...

Love, love, love Seaside. It's one of my favorite places, along with Rosemary Beach (which is right down the road from Seaside). One year we rented a house on the beach there and instantly fell in love. We're hoping to make it down this summer (if we can fit it in).

Looks like so much fun. We are huge fans of Rosemary Beach and can't wait to return. I just found your blog and can't believe I didn't see it sooner. Your work is beautiful!

I haven't been to Rosemary beach yet but have heard that it is amazing as well. Thanks for reading Heather! :-)

Ditto on heather's comment... Love your blog and sense of style! So I'm not surprised that it extends to fashion as well. Would you mind sharing where you found that fantastic turquoise bead necklace? I think everyone on the commuter bus from Manhattan just heard me gasp when I saw it. :-)

Sharon,
Thank you!...and wow, I don't think I've ever had anyone ask me about something that I am wearing on here! I am truly flattered! I got the necklace at Chico's. Thanks for reading :-)
