Well, my version of a candy shop anyway... My wonderful client, in Austin, and I walked the slab yard on Wednesday and tagged some picks. I might have hugged that slab of Calcutta above, I can't confirm or deny this...

That is a candy shop for sure. I wish I had went with marble for my kitchen and baths. KY does not believe in selling marble. Both granite/marble dealers I visited told me how horrible marble would be. I wish I had just told them I didn't care, it is beautiful.
Yeah, many people have a stigma about marble. As long as you hone it and seal it you are good to go. These two things are a must, for using marble, in my book.
