Project Sneak Peek

I apologize for my posting lull. I'm on the mend from being extremely sick last week! I rarely get sick and this past week really threw me. Thankfully only Frank and I got it and the little Miss is healthy as can be.

So, here's a little sneak peek of a project I completed right before Alice was born. Hopefully I'll get some time soon to get the full project up on here. It is gorgeous!!!

Hope you'll come back to check it out.

On a completely unrelated note...I'm always encouraged by things that bring my perspective back to where it should be. I get so wrapped up in my own little world, and my private little pity parties, that I am guilty sometimes of overlooking how truly blessed my life is (I hate to admit this about myself but I think this is something that we all do, right?). Anyway, I came across one of those little reminders the other night and thought I would share. Read this post :-).
I hope you've had a great week!

  3. You are right...we are very blessed and we do spend too much time thinking about our own little worlds...so true. Thank you for the reminder.

And YES! I will be back to see this lovely project!

  4. I love the light fixture as well! We just selected something similar for a client's kitchen...wish I had them in my own kitchen!
And thanks for linking to the post...what great pics. The woman with Polio is an inspiration. I guess 9 weeks on bed rest in a clean hospital room while being waited on hand and foot is not so bad after all. :-/ I should be more grateful...
