Home

We are finally moved into our new home...well not completely moved in, but working on it. Many of you who know me personally know that our move to San Antonio was hard and emotional. We left everything we knew and were comfortable with behind in Dallas...my family, our friends, our church, my clients...there is not an aspect of our lives that hasn't been touched by our move. We made a decision for our future and ran with it. Up until now we had been living in a rent house while we searched for our new home. This was depressing. Not because of the house, (the rent house was super cute) but because we had no roots, or direction for that matter. I'm a nest-er and I wasn't able to make it ours. For six months we lived without a single picture on the wall and half of our belongings in either storage or boxes amidst our feet. We were slowly going crazy :-)
God has been so good to us. He has carried us through a challenging time in our lives and has blessed us in so many ways! We have a home now, a place to call ours, and I can already feel our roots reaching deep into the ground. The sun is shining again.
I've had some requests for photos and I will gladly share when we get fully unpacked. Above is a glimpse of my new kitchen that I am positively in love with!!!
"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalms 126:3
